A local member of the Minnesota cycling community has started a fund to help reduce barriers to access, and to cover some of the costs for younger cyclists and marginalized groups. These funds can be used for race fees or for USA Cycling race licenses. Juniors, BIPOC riders, and nonbinary riders are encouraged to apply!

Grants available:

  • One bike race fee in Minnesota*

  • Full Junior USA Cycling race license reimbursement

  • $70 reimbursement for an adult USA Cycling race license

Applying is simple! Just click the button to the right, fill out the form, and the MCF Board of Directors will review your application and return a decision.

If your grant request is approved, simply submit to us your registration receipt for a bike race in Minnesota or for a USA Cycling race license, and we will reimburse you. Reimbursement can be done via PayPal, Venmo, or check.

*Race must be in Minnesota to qualify. If the race requires a USA Cycling license, we will cover a one day license in addition to the race fee. Maximum value $70.
